📌 Course Contents
We video called students (the number varied) each week and covered different aspects of the country that we're from aiming to share about our life. Most students didn't have required topics to speak about but a few students' partner school were given specific ones. I shared about topics including food, culture, language, pop culture/media, tourist destinations, and sports. Later in the semester, everyone has the opportunity to visit the local school that we were video calling, and students can also apply to visit other local schools in the program which span across the whole country, all day/overnight trips are funded!

📌 Teaching Method
We were paired up with a local university student "buddy" who we met up (it is advised to but some buddies just joined the video calls separately) with each week based on our allocated time slot and they would help with translation and communication with the school. To share, we created presentations (none of this is graded) each week.

📌 Course Materials
We used Google Meet to video call students from the local school, and I used Canva to make the slides. The presentations should be in English and you speak to the students in English (unless you're sharing something about you're culture!)

📌 Assignments and Exams
All of this is individual work. As the international student, you will only need to create the presentation slides and use them to share about your culture. There's no exemplars on how you choose to present or make your slides, so it's all up to you. There are a few surveys/quizzes but they're only to ensure that you know the rules of this course etc.

📌 Grading
The grading is based on your attendance to the video calls each week/the trip to your school, and the survey/quiz. So as long as you attend them and do the quiz, you shouldn't have any worries, and the quiz is super easy, all the information is given in a document that outlines everything about the course.

📌 Reviews & Feedback
My favourite course by far - highly recommend! Perfect for international students and I became really good friends with my buddy! Extremely unique course and 100% worth it in every way!
